Are you looking for an authentic Sicilian experience?

The Gambuzza family in collaboration with the Chef Emilia Strazzanti is waiting for you!

You will enjoy a unique experience in a true Sicilian family atmosphere.

Your experience will start with a field tour, discovering techniques and secrets of the sesame of Ispica production and its unique seed. Then, you will move to the family workshop to join a cooking show of «Gghjugghjulena», a typical Sicilian Christmas sweet made with almonds, honey and sesame seeds.

Under the guidance of Chef Emilia, you will immerse yourself in traditional cooking techniques that have been passed down through generations, preparing crispy sesame grissini or Sicilian sesame cookies “Reginelle”.

After the cooking class your table will be ready to taste local yummy food and Sicilian red wine.

What you will do

A field tour, in harmony with nature, discovering the organic sesame of Ispica production.

Firstly, you will explore sesame properties, fragrances and secrets. Then, you will move to the food lab where you will better understand the whole production process.

After that, you will be able to find out for yourself what all the hard work leads to, as a delicious tasting will allow you to appreciate our special products, delicious local food and Sicilian wine.

From June 15th to October 15th (except Sunday).

Duration 3 hours and 30 minuts.

Reservation is required at least 6 days in advance.

People Only small groups from 4 to 7 people.

A meaningful nature experience, good and healthy food, an interactive cooking class in a warm atmosphere with a private Chef.
